Synopsis: Based on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s Osterspaziergang, Streifzug (trans: Ramble) is a film by Andreas Ramm, a director born in 1985 within the Eastern Bloc, in the GDR. The film takes us on a romantic journey through nature, but sometimes we crave paradise so much that we lose track of reality. The light of the sun is not always beautiful. It can as well be dazzling, so we know there is no place for us in paradise.

“At the beginning (there are) harmonic and aesthetic images (shown with shots of) nature. (With this), you hear the text of Goethe. But then the mood changes. But I do not want to reveal more.
I like contrasts in the film – film can lie to you also.
Streifzug (Germany) will be screened at No Gloss Film Festival 2015.
